I was able to message someone over Microsoft Teams when his out-of-office (OOF) popped up with the following message.
Please do not say “Hi John” in chat without fully explaining your intent and/or request in the first message you send. Better yet, please strongly consider sending me an email and not an IM. Please read http://www.nohello.com/ before hitting enter if you have any questions.
Curious enough, I go to http://www.nohello.com/. Yeap, I have been guilty of this 100%. So sharing with anyone else who’s been guilty of this, we don’t have enough time. So let’s not waste each other’s time :).
PS I am so stealing that for my Teams IM also!
